President Morsi votes on controversial new Egypt constitution

People in Egypt are voting on a new constitution endorsed by the Islamist president, which has divided the country and sparked deadly unrest.

President Morsi was among the early voters in Cairo where polls opened at 8am on Saturday.

Egyptian television showed the president cast his ballot and then dip his finger in ink - a measure to prevent people voting twice.
