Israel has 'no choice' over Hamas

The Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi has said that talks to reach a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will produce positive results.

His comments come as the US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is due to arrive in the Cairo.

At a news conference with the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said Israel was doing its utmost to avoid civilian casualties.
