Watchdog reports Syria torture

Intelligence agencies in Syria are running a network of torture centres, according to a new report by the campaign group Human Rights Watch.

Researchers found evidence that since the Syrian government began a crackdown on pro-democracy protests, detainees had been beaten, burned with acid and sexually assaulted.

The BBC's correspondent James Reynolds sent this report from Syria's border with Turkey.
