US firemen help Iranians celebrate the Festival of Fire

The Iranian calendar starts and ends to the annual equinox.

On the last Wednesday of the year - Iranians as well as Persian speaking people, celebrate the festival of fire and wish each other health and prosperity for the coming year.

This year, the Iranian expatriates in the Greater New York City, were helped by the city's fire department to mark this tradition safely.
