UN passes Iran nuclear resolution

The UN's nuclear watchdog has passed a resolution expressing its "deep and increasing concern" over Iran's nuclear programme.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has asked Tehran to address questions about its nuclear capabilities, but it did not refer the country to the UN security Council.

Iran's ambassador to the IAEA said the resolution would only end up strengthening Iran's resolve.
