Libya rebels making progress towards Tripoli

Libyan rebels are making progress towards the strategically important town of Zlitan on the road to Tripoli, following weeks of stalemate.

The rebels have managed to push through what was the front line of forces loyal to Colonel Gaddafi, despite mortar and rocket fire causing heavy casualties.

Gabriel Gatehouse reports from Misrata.
