More protesters shot in Syria a day after Obama's strong words
A day after President Obama warned Syria's president that he must lead reform or get out of the way, security forces have again opened fire on anti-government protesters.
Activists say as many as 30 people have been shot dead at protests across the country.
Foreign journalists are banned from Syria so Jim Muir sent this report from Beirut in neighbouring Lebanon.
