Amateur footage of Libya violence emerges

Amateur footage has emerged of recent protests in several parts of Libya, amid reports that troops have opened fire on anti-government protesters in city Benghazi.

An unknown number of people, including children, are said to have been killed.

Reports are difficult to verify as Libyan authorities have not allowed foreign journalists into the country, but it has been suggested that protests are spreading.

Jon Leyne reports.
