Exodus of British citizens and foreigners from Egypt

The British government's first evacuation flight has left Egypt after days of violent clashes between anti-government protesters and supporters of President Hosni Mubarak in Egypt.

Foreigners are now a target for some pro-government supporters and expatriates who have lived there for years now feel the country is getting too dangerous.

Rupert Wingfield-Hayes joined some of those heading for the airport.
