Hague: Egypt travel advice 'under constant review'

Fighter jets have been flying low over the centre of Cairo as demonstrators opposed to the rule of President Mubarak gathered in large numbers for a sixth day.

The Foreign Office is advising British citizens in Cairo, Alexandria and Suez to leave if it is safe to do so.

But there are said to be chaotic scenes at Cairo Airport as many people try to get on a reduced number of flights.

Foreign Secretary William Hague has said that travel advice is being kept under "careful and constant review" as the unrest in Egypt continues.
