Tens of thousands join Yemen rally

Tens of thousands of people in Yemen have been demonstrating in the capital, Sanaa, calling for the president of the last three decades, Ali Abdullah Saleh, to leave office.

Protesters gathered at four different locations around the city, chanting that it was 'time for change', and referring to the popular uprising in Tunisia that ousted President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali earlier this month.

The BBC's Frank Gardner said Yemen has had problems for some time.
