BBC visits West Bank settlements to see the issues

President Obama's Middle East envoy, George Mitchell, has held crucial talks with the Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas in an effort to keep peace negotiations with Israel from collapsing.

The Palestinians have threatened to quit the talks unless Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu extends his partial freeze on settlement building, it expired on Sunday.
