Photographer captures Cuba without cliches

Photographer Susan S. Bank has been captivated by Cuba for years, but wants to portray its people not as romantic figures but in the harsh realities they inhabit.

Her new book of images from the capital, Havana, is called Piercing the Darkness.

She spoke to World Update's Dan Damon.
