Hurricane Matthew chaser on 'worst conditions' in Bahamas

A hurricane chaser has described some of the "worst conditions" in the Bahamas which have been pounded by Hurricane Matthew.

"Some of the boats here in the harbour have detached and started to slam some of the piers," Brett Adair told the BBC from the capital Nassau.

The Category Four storm, which has already devastated parts of Haiti, is expected to hit southern Florida later on Thursday.
