New Venezuela government ends 17 years of Socialist rule

In Venezuela, a new parliament controlled by the opposition, has been sworn in.

It follows a heavy defeat by the Socialist Party in last month's election, which put an end to 17 years of government control at the single-chamber National Assembly.
