Sao Paulo favela fire leaves thousands homeless

A large fire has destroyed part of a favela in the Campo Belo district of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Almost 500 homes were destroyed and more than 2,000 people have been left homeless but only one person was reportedly taken to hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation.
