Venezuelan youths pick up boxing gloves to knock out crime

The Venezuelan government hopes an initiative aimed at encouraging young people to take up boxing will help discourage them from a life of gangs and crime.

In a neighbourhood in Caracas, children as young as eight are battling it out in boxing matches organised by the Ministry of Sport.

BBC Mundo's Yolanda Valery reports.
