Students clash with police in Santiago, Chile

Student protestors have clashed with police in Santiago, Chile.

Demonstrations turned violent as police fired water cannons and tear gas.

Students fired back with rocks and a band of demonstrators apparently separated from the group and set a government security building on fire.

The students want to re-ignite calls for free quality education.
