Mystery over Chile ex-president's death solved

One of the great mysteries of modern day politics in Latin America has come to an end.

A judge in Chile has ruled out the possibility that the country's former president, Salvador Allende, was murdered.

Mr Allende died when his government was overthrown in a coup in 1973.

While some have always believed he took his own life, many others suspected he was assassinated by the military.
