Brazilian military joins rescue efforts in worst hit areas

At least 600 people are now known to have died in the devastating floods and mudslides in south-eastern Brazil.

Soldiers and military doctors have been sent to the worst-affected areas, such as Nova Friburgo, where field hospitals have been set up to help with the rescue efforts.

In Teresopolis, rescue teams are uncovering more bodies.
