Vladimir Putin says Russia is 'stronger than any aggressor'

The Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he does not want a new arms race with the West, after Donald Trump suggested he would expand America's nuclear arsenal.

Speaking at his annual press conference, which lasted almost four hours, Mr Putin also rejected accusations that Russia had intervened in the US presidential election.
