Dublin shooting witness describes terror of being at gunpoint

Reporter Kevin McAnena has told 5 live he “never knew the meaning of the word terror until the last couple of hours” after gunmen opened fire at a boxing match weigh-in the Republic of Ireland.

Kevin was in the lobby when men “dressed in full police uniform” entered the lobby of the Regency Hotel in Dublin at about 14:30 GMT. It is understood the men were carrying AK47 assault rifles.

One of the gunmen “leaned over and pointed a gun” at Kevin during the incident that left one man dead and two seriously injured.
