Turkey election: AKP party loses parliamentary majority

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has suffered a major setback in Turkey's general election after his party lost its parliamentary majority.

The surprise outcome also sees the pro-Kurdish HDP crossing the 10% threshold, securing seats for the first time.
