The 'disaster' hitting olives and their oil

The price of olive oil could rise by as much as 60%, following a disastrous olive harvest.

The hot autumn has failed to kill off the major pest, the olive fly, causing a significant drop in the volume of olives produced.

James Reynolds inspected the damage at a farm in central Italy.
