Lampedusa: Migrants stripped on secret footage

An inquiry has been launched in Italy into the treatment of African and Arab migrants at a reception centre on the island of Lampedusa.

Secretly-filmed footage has revealed a humiliating hygiene regime which forces detainees to strip naked in mixed company every few days, while a worker hoses them down.
