Italy boat sinking 'a disgrace', says Pope

Pope Francis has described the sinking of a boat carrying migrants off the southern Italian island of Lampedusa as "a disgrace".

Over 100 people have died and many passengers are still missing after a vessel sank.

In July, the Pope visited the island and condemned the "global indifference" to the plight of migrants trying to arrive there.
