EU budget summit ends without deal

Talks between European leaders in Brussels to set the next EU Budget have ended without agreement.

David Cameron said the deal being discussed was unacceptable and criticised Brussels for failing to come up with a single euro of savings.

The leaders of the 27-member states will meet again in the new year to try once more to thrash out an agreement

Gavin Hewitt reports from Brussels.
