Georgia President concedes election defeat

Georgia President Mikheil Saakashvili, who has led the country since 2003, has admitted his party has lost Georgia's parliamentary election, held on Monday.

In a live TV announcement he conceded that the opposition Georgian Dream coalition had secured a majority, though went on to say that he finds the views of the coalition "fundamentally unacceptable".
