Low river waters reveal long-lost Polish castle relics

A number of marble sculptures which used to adorn the walls of the Royal Castle in Warsaw have been found after extremely low water levels revealed the bottom of the Vistula river.

The relics sank to the bottom of the river as they were being plundered from the castle during the Polish-Swedish wars of the 17th Century.

Tom Santorelli reports.
