Hard times in Russia's 'blind village' Rusinovo

The village of Rusinovo was created in the days of the Soviet Union, when state money was widely used to fund housing and employment schemes.

A large number of visually impaired people were moved to the settlement, which was supposed to be a ''paradise for the blind''. But for some of today's residents it is a very different story.

Gennady Alasheev reports.
