Italy quake: Rescue operation goes on
Rescue workers continue to search for survivors and secure buildings following a powerful earthquake in the northern Italy.
Thousands of people spent the night in tents after the second deadly earthquake within a fortnight truck the region claiming at least 16 lives.
Its epicentre was near Modena, close to where a similar quake struck nine days earlier.
Many buildings collapsed and others were severely damaged.
The BBC's Alan Johnston describes the scene at an area hit by the earthquake, the town of Cavezzo.
