Kosovo and Serbia begin dialogue

Kosovo unilaterally broke away from Serbia three years ago and relations between them have never recovered since the war they fought in the 1990s.

Serbia still rejects Kosovo's secession and only 75 countries recognise its independence but Belgrade has now agreed to discuss some issues with the Kosovan authorities to break the stalemate.
