Putin promises World Cup of 'highest standards'

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has said how honoured he is that his country has been picked to host the 2018 World Cup.

He promised a competition that would be "up to the highest standards" with new stadiums and facilities being built in time.

He spoke after flying into Zurich hours after it was announced Russia had won the bid.
