Portugal braced for general strike

Portuguese workers will stage what unions say will be the country's biggest ever general strike on Wednesday.

The action is in protest against the debt-laden government's austerity measures.

Flights will be cancelled and major ports will be paralysed.

The BBC's Sarah Rainsford reports from Lisbon.
