UK-France joint defence treaties to be signed

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and UK Prime Minister David Cameron are to sign two treaties paving the way for a joint military force on Tuesday.

The proposals would also see the countries agreeing to the joint development and testing of nuclear warheads, although nuclear secrets will not be shared.
