Cars burned and shots fired in Grenoble riot
Rioters fired shots and burned cars in the French city of Grenoble after police shot dead a man accused of a robbery.
The violence flared in the small hours of Saturday morning after a memorial service for the man, who was killed 24 hours earlier in a shoot-out with police.
He was one of two men believed to have held up a casino, escaping with more than 20,000 euros (£17,000; US$26,000).
