Australian frog species found that 'flashes' enemies

A rare species of frog which startles predators by flashing its bright orange groin has been discovered in swampland on Australia's east coast.

The tiny Mahony's Toadlet - not a toad, despite the name - has a distinctive marbled underbelly and was discovered by accident by Dr Simon Clulow, a researcher at Australia's Newcastle University.
