Sydney to Hobart race sees record number of foreign yachts

A record 28 foreign boats will compete in this year's Sydney to Hobart yacht race, one of the world's most challenging ocean events.

It began in 1945, and pits amateur sailors against professional crews.

More than 100 vessels will start the race on Boxing Day.

Phil Mercer reports from Wild Rose, last year's overall winner.
