Australian Imams say gunman committing 'criminal act'

A spokesman for the Australian National Imams Council has criticised the gunman responsible for taking hostages at Sydney's Lindt Café, calling his actions 'despicable.'

Sheikh Aref Chaker said the gunman was 'trying to give some sort of religious image to a criminal act.'
