US funds Agent Orange clean up in Vietnam
Vietnam has begun the first stage of a joint operation with the United States aimed at removing traces of the chemical Agent Orange.
The project will concentrate on an area where the Americans are believed to have stored quantities of the highly toxic substance during the Vietnam war.
The move has been seen as a further sign that America wants to improve its relationship with its former foe.
Tom Burridge reports.
