Japan earthquake: Inside supermarket in Tokyo

Footage uploaded to YouTube shows supermarket workers in Tokyo attempting to keep items on the shelves as the earthquake hits.

The amateur footage is believed to have been filmed inside the Tokyo Met supermarket in the Koutou-ku area of Tokyo.

The quake, measuring a massive 8.9 magnitude, struck 400km north-east of Tokyo at 1446 local time, triggering a Tsunami.

The authenticity of the footage in this item has not been verified by the BBC.
