Cyclone Yasi throws yachts out of water

Cyclone Yasi has battered the state of Queensland in north-eastern Australia, leaving a trail of destruction.

There have been no deaths, despite the fact the storm was strong enough to tear apart houses and lift yachts from their moorings and leave them resting on dry land.

The BBC's Australia correspondent Nick Bryant reports from Sydney.
