Vietnam's Communist Party Congress is in its final phase, with over 1000 delegates meeting in Hanoi, to decide on top official positions including a new party chief.

The new leadership has a challenge on its hands as Vietnam faces high inflation and the difficulty of sustaining the economic growth of recent years.
