US Christian activist Robert Park on N Korea imprisonment

An American Christian activist who was imprisoned by North Korea after being accused of illegal entry has been speaking on television for the first time.

Twenty-nine-year-old Robert Park was released in February after 43 days in detention.

He had been imprisoned after walking across the border between North and South Korea on what he called a one-man peace mission.

Mr Park spoke to the BBC's Seoul correspondent John Sudworth about why he chose such a risky form of protest.

Viewers may find some of the content of Mr Park's story disturbing.
