Thailand hit by severe flooding

More than three million people have been affected by flooding which has hit Thailand.

Latest figures show that at least 68 people have died, with many more made homeless.

Bangkok has been on high alert, with sandbags piled up along the riverbanks as a swollen river has met high tides.

Just 80km from the capital, Ayutthaya has experienced severe flooding.
