Kashmir widow: I am proud of my militant husband

Voting has concluded in an Indian-administered Kashmir for elections to the local assembly. There are indications of a high turnout, despite divisions between pro- and anti-India camps.

Years of conflict between government forces and insurgents have left thousands of widows in the valley fending for themselves.

The BBC's Shalu Yadav has been assessing the mood in the valley with two women who have borne the brunt of the violence - a militant's widow and a soldier's widow.
