Why Bo Xilai was brought down
China's biggest political scandal in decades reaches a conclusion this weekend.
A verdict is due on Sunday in the trial of Bo Xilai, once one of China's rising political stars.
Mr Bo is accused of corruption and covering up the murder of the British businessman Neil Heywood.
Mr Bo's wife has already been found guilty of poisoning the Briton, with whom she had a business dispute.
Mr Bo remains a popular figure. But, as Damian Grammaticas reports from the city of Chongqing, he is almost certain to receive a long jail sentence, with his political rivals determined to use the scandal to end his career.
