Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike: 'I was elected because I was a woman'

Japanese Former Defence Minister Yuriko Koike recently became the first-ever woman to be elected governor of Tokyo.

Speaking to the BBC's Rupert Wingfield-Hayes, she outlined her plans for successful Tokyo Olympics in 2020 - and described the challenges facing a female politician in Japan.
