Taiwan opens up to graffiti artists

Graffiti may be common in many cities in Europe or the US, but in Asia, graffiti artists face stiff fines, jail terms or even caning.

But in recent years, Taiwan has become an exception.

Its penalties are relatively low, and its capital Taipei now provides space for graffiti artists to create their works, without breaking the law.

The BBC team went to meet Jimmy Cheng, a longtime graffiti artist and founder of the Taipei Alliance for the Advancement of Multi Art Culture Youth Center.
