Afghan president: No apology needed over Cameron corruption comment

Afghan president Ashraf Ghani says he does not want an apology from David Cameron, after the British prime minister described Afghanistan as "fantastically corrupt".

Speaking to Today programme presenter Mishal Husain, he accepted that Afghanistan was "one of the most corrupt countries on earth".

He said Afghanistan and the UK were partners in the struggle to overcome the "cancer" of corruption, one driver of which was the "drug habit of the west".
